While the army was forming up, you sent out scouts to survey your surroundings, and they have come back with reports of two paths being open to you. Pulling out your compass you check your heading. You know the Salt Tower lies some way to the South but it appears only an East or West path is immediately open to you. The one to the West is denser and may take more time. To the east, one soldier from the scouting party was attacked by something, and many more strange plants were seen by the soldiers.
