Visibility is fading fast, and you need to act quickly. Just as you are about to organize a retreat, you hear the first shouts of soldiers being pulled into the mysterious fog. Left and right, troops disappear, their cries for help fade with them in the murky air. The retreat becomes a rout as you struggle to keep everyone together while making your escape.

Back on the main street, you gather what remains of your forces and take note of the many soldiers now missing. Soldiers you had brought here. Hoping to keep the survivors focused on the task at hand, you order the column to begin moving toward the central Spire.
