For three straight days you tracked your quarry, hounding its every step. You finally managed to drive it up into the hills where the ever changing crevasses on the glacial terrain provided the opportunity to take the beast. And the plan worked, you cornered him at the edge of one of those deep fissures. The beast fought ferociously but you rammed the creature off the cliff and stood watching it disappear into the abyss below. It was a worthy first kill.
